The film, which has been shot simultaneously in three languages – Hindi, Telugu as Rakta Charitra and Tamil as Ratha Charitram, and the two parts will release three weeks apart whilst the Tamil version will only have one part. The film features Vivek Oberoi in the role reprising Ravindra, and Suriya as Suri, whose part appears predominantly in the second part. The film also features Shatrughan Sinha, Priyamani, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Radhika Apte playing other roles. The first part of the instalment released on October 21, 2010 whilst the second part will release on November 19, 2010.
