MYSORE: Here is good news for UGC-NET aspirants. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has recognized the University of Mysore as a new centre to conduct NET for the award of junior research fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for lectureship from this year.
The NET examination is scheduled on December 26, 2010. Those having minimum 55% marks in master's degree or equivalent examination from universities/ institutions recognized by UGC in humanities, social sciences, computer science and applications, electronic sciences, etc., are eligible to appear for the test. For SC/ST, physically and visually challenged candidates there will be relaxation by 5% in minimum marks, for eligibility.Read More

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has declared the exam notification of National Eligibility Test (NET).
